    Access to resources are a critical piece to any business model.  More importantly, how they are utilized provide a heightened since of sustainability for small businesses looking to scale.  Below is a list of resources available to assist Entrepreneurs along their journey.

A weekly gatherings where entrepreneurs present business ideas to the local community and learn how those around them can support their business in its growth.  This community focused event meets Wednesday mornings in various communities to give startups the opportunity to share their business journey, refine their elevator pitch with a diverse audience, and engage with a network for support.  DFW chapters inclue:  NE Tarrant County  | Fort  Worth Dallas | Frisco

The Center for Women Entrepreneurs provide resources for women-owned business owners in the areas of:  Business advising, funding, networking, training and shared resources.  Whether you are a current business owner or looking to become one, they invite you to explore all of the many tools they have available to assist you.  Their services are open to all women throughout the state of Texas and no affiliation to the college is required.

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is currently the largest management assistance program serving the business sector in the United States.  An SBDC conducts research, counsels and trains business people in managing, financing and operating small businesses, providing comprehensive information services and access to experts in a variety of fields. Each SBDC encourages unique local efforts to meet small business needs in its area. SBDCs develop and maintain partnerships among community organizations and agencies: local, state and federal, to provide a focal point for broad networks of public and private resources at the community level. SBDC partnership programs and activities have contributed significantly to economic growth in each state.

SCORE is a low to no cost resource to small business owners that help them start, grow or successfully exit a business.   They are seasoned with business mentors that will walk you through developing a business plan, establishing your target market, hiring your first employee and much more.  Small business owners who receive three or more hours of mentoring report higher revenues and increased growth.

South Dallas/Fair Park Innovation Center is a community driven flexible work space located inside the all new Vista Bank building, just walking distance to the historic Fair Park, home of the Texas State Fair.  The innovation center will provide essential amenities such as low cost work spaces, business development training, access to funding and much more to support the growth and development of the Southern Dallas Community.


B.U.I.L.D aims to provide access to viable resources needed to grow and scale any business venture.  Be it small business or nonprofit, this resource pairs individuals through an online platform that maps them to the essential resources such as funding, mentorship, incubators and more.  This resource is free to access and available 24 hours a day.

A FREE platform that connects entrepreneurs with resources and provides information about the local startup community through data analysis, guest blog posts and other informational sources.
